Shipping Policy

1. Currency Statement

All transactions on this store are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). For our customers located in the United States, your credit card provider or bank will convert the total amount from CAD to USD based on the exchange rate at the time of the transaction. Please note that your financial institution may apply foreign transaction fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We use a two-tiered shipping system based on the size and weight of your order:

  • Standard Shipping (FedEx or UPS): Orders that meet FED EX/UPS’s standard weight and size requirements (typically under 150 lbs) will be shipped via FED EX/UPS Ground or International.

  • Freight Shipping (LTL): Any order exceeding FED EX/UPS’s weight or size limitations will be shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight.

3. Shipping Costs & Responsibility

The client is solely responsible for all shipping and freight charges.

  • Small Parcels: UPS rates are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination and weight.

  • LTL Freight: To guarantee the best possible rate, your shipping cost will be calculated at checkout, followed by a secondary verification by our team to secure the lowest available freight price.

  • Accessorial Fees: For LTL shipments, any additional fees incurred at delivery (e.g., lift-gate service, residential delivery fees, or limited access fees) are the responsibility of the client.

4. International Shipping (US & Canada)

We ship to all provinces in Canada and all 50 states in the USA.

  • Importer of Record: The client is considered the "Importer of Record" and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

  • Duties, Taxes, and Fees: Orders crossing the border may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and brokerage fees. These charges are NOT included in our prices or shipping costs and must be paid by the client.

  • Customs Brokerage (LTL Only): For cross-border LTL Freight, the client must provide the name and contact information of their preferred Customs Broker. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or missing broker information.

5. Order Processing & Delivery Times

  • Processing: Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days.

  • Transit Times: * Within Canada: Estimated 3–7 business days.

    • To United States: Estimated 5–14 business days, depending on customs clearance.

  • Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number (for FedEx) or a Bill of Lading (for LTL).

6. Freight Delivery & Inspection Requirements

For all LTL Freight deliveries, a recipient must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.

  • Mandatory Inspection: You must inspect the pallet and all items for visible damage before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL).

  • Reporting Damage: If damage is found, it must be clearly noted on the BOL before the driver leaves.

  • Claims: We cannot guarantee the success of a freight claim if the shipment was signed for as "Received in Good Condition."
